A Commitment to Public Service

I am honored to serve as District Court Judge in Jefferson County’s 30th Judicial District, Division 11. As a judge, I have presided over thousands of cases involving citizens from all over Jefferson County and the Commonwealth of Kentucky.  I work to ensure that the rights of those before me are protected and that the voices of victims are heard.

District Court requires a diverse set of legal skills to deal with criminal, civil, probate and juvenile issues. My background includes diverse legal experience and a proven commitment to public service.

I bring a perspective and insight to the bench that comes from my personal experiences as a child that witnessed violence. My perspective also includes my work in court as an advocate for the accused as well as the accuser, and the vast amount of work I have done prior to becoming a judge.

I have served on both sides of the aisle and the bench and I understand that every court ruling has an impact and should be made ethically and with integrity and impartiality.  I do not take for granted that I am a servant of the public and I value deeply the trust that has been placed in me.  It is my hope that you will join our campaign and will support keeping experienced and fair judges on the bench.

I respectfully request that on November 2, 2010 you will vote to keep me as your District Court Judge in District 11.
